He has specific expertise in manufacturing, wholesale and retail, timber, nonprofit, real estate, hotel, construction and advertising. In 2003, 2008 and 2012, Bill was named a Super CPA by Virginia Business Magazine in the areas of Individual tax and Estate and Trust taxation. A graduate of Virginia Military Institute, Bill is a two-time recipient of the U.S. Army Meritorious Service Medal and is a Retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves. Professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Richmond Chapter of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Bill, a strong community leader, is a Trustee for Westminster-Canterbury, Board Member for Sheltering Arms Hospital, Board Member for the Virginia Home for Boys and Girls, Past President VMI Club of Richmond and Past Deacon of First Presbyterian Church.
